Helps focus on what happens if you approach obesity and why those that aren’t may live an extra 20-40 years with little but good diet and exercise.

Good explanation of aging and so the factors that need to be explored and explained. Includes health information and newest studies as well as recipes of what to eat to lengthen your life.

Good read

The cover information of this book states that it is a translation of a book published in Dutch, "Veroudering vertragen". This book was published in 2015, which makes it likely that important progress has been in longevity research since then. It would be useful if the author could comment on this issue.

Good book but haven't finished reading yet.

Very informative and well written. Smart guy!

What an interesting book. The author explains complicated processes as though it is child's play. I finally understand how our body works at a cellular level and it all makes sense. This guy should be a teacher. If you are looking for a book about aging well (and everyone should be!) and aging without illness to enjoy the longest, healthiest life you can, this will help you get there. Thank you Dr. Verburgh.

Really gives a great overview of how our body work and ages. It cites a lot of studies and how some people live longer. I highly recommend this book and it has prompted me to change some of my eating habits.
